Overview Residents Applications Production House

The Sorting Office

The Sorting Office is the latest addition to the growing portfolio of creative hubs in Eastleigh and is now part of an exciting European-funded enterprise programme. The new space offers affordable workspace to artists and creative industries within a supportive environment to help residents to develop their practises and grow their creative businesses.

Working in partnership with Eastleigh Borough Council, a space arts will manage the building which is conveniently located just a short walk away from Eastleigh’s train and bus stations, and within a five minute drive from both the M3 and M27 motorways.

Converted from the former Royal Mail Sorting Office built in the 1920s, this unique space offers open plan units, lockable private units and a production studio for large scale projects. There is also a loading bay and a secure car park.

  • Easy in/easy out resident agreements;
  • Single affordable monthly payments (from £120pcm);
  • Flexible workspace with 24/7 secure access;
  • Mentorship and business development programmes;
  • Personal broadband connection;
  • Business postal address;
  • Shared kitchenette and WC facilities;
  • Secure car park, loading bay and outside areas;
  • Networking opportunities;
  • Support from the RECREATE European partnership;
  • Support from the Creative Eastleigh Network

The European-funded RECREATE programme consists of 11 partner organisations in England and France and will allow residents at The Sorting Office to become part of a cross-Channel creative business community, with access to new markets and opportunities to take part in mentorship and exchange programmes.
